Baby Trey discovered today how to suck his thumb... It's been an interesting week watching him discover that he could suck on his hand (and arm) as well as that there where itte fingers coming off of his hand... Today he managed to put 2 and 2 together and learned how to suck on his thumb...

Baby is now 5 days old and he's trying to find his thumb... He's discovered that he can suckle on things such as his arm and his hand...
Baby definitely enjoys sleeping on Mommy and daddy as well as his U pillow (Pictures in the gallery for today and yesterday in the Random Photos section).
Trey is starting to eat more, even the nurses where worried that he'd only drink a quarter to a half of an ounce; we're up to about 1.75 ounces without having too much spittle...
Babies umbilical cord fell off today, no fuss at all; it fell off on his sleep... Somehow it ended up on the small of his back after nap time. He wasn't too happy when he when Sam finished cleaning off his belly button, but afterwards he felt better.
BTW, he's an innie.

Due to a lot of our friends and family not being able to take part in Baby Trey's life we have decided to make a Baby Trey journal... This journal should (we're procrastinators) be updated with information about the baby...
Most information will not be published to the main site, so if you want to read you'll have to use the navigation bar ;).
